Bespoke Rising Gate

An interesting project to manufacture and install a pair of rising gates at a local golf course.

We were supplied with measurements and a concept of what was required for each gate, which we then designed and provided drawings for approval.

 

We ordered the motifs from our supplier laser cut, and fabricated the gates, and sent them off for galvanising.

The thing that made this project interesting was the pintel design on the larger of the gates. 

Because the road beyond the gate had a gradual incline, the pintels were manufactured to be offset, which in turn made the gate rise as it was opened, much like the doors of sports car. This required some testing in our factory to ensure we could supply a gate that was fit for purpose, while ensuring they maintained the prestige and professional look required by the customer.
